Description

Do you want to try summer work but may not be of age for a regular summer job in elderly care? Then we can offer you a slightly different summer job where you, together with your EPA tractor, perform one of the world's most important jobs!

Job Responsibilities

You will be employed as a care assistant in home care with adapted tasks and a tailored schedule.

Your assignment involves going to our elderly clients’ homes and helping them with shopping, making the bed, washing dishes, preparing breakfast, delivering meals, or just being social and taking them out for a walk or similar activities.

You will not perform any nursing tasks, and you will have your own supervisor who guides and supports you throughout the period.

Since our home care service covers a large area, you will need your own A-tractor to transport yourself. And a valid driver's license to operate it. Of course, you will be compensated for this!

Qualifications

We have no educational requirements as we expect that many of you applying have ongoing education. However, we want you to be responsible, punctual, and take your assignment seriously. And of course, it is important that you enjoy working with people and thrive in social interactions.

We need you during the period of 23/6-17/8, and we plan to divide the period into two parts, so you will work a total of 4 weeks. You can choose to work either 23/6-20/7 or 21/7-17/8. Working hours are Monday to Friday 09:00-15:00 and some weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) 08:30-12:00 according to the schedule. Travel compensation for the driving will be provided. You will receive an introduction to the operations before starting your position.

Conditions

AM driver's license or A driver's license and access to an EPA tractor/moped (insured and inspected) for the summer period you will be working. It is a requirement that the EPA tractor is inspected and taxed, and that meal boxes fit inside the vehicle.

About Vilhelmina

Vilhelmina can be described as a 5-minute community. It may be a bit far from larger cities, but once you are there, most things are within reach. In five minutes, you can pick up children from preschool, go to work, hit the gym after work, or take your skis/running shoes to the illuminated trails, and eat at one of the local cafes and restaurants.
